WOMEN IN TECH CAN DO ANYTHING!
ACM-W supports, celebrates, and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to ACM members and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women.

The organization its self has helped me be aware of the many career door opportunities that my Cybersecurity major can led me too. Due to being part of ACM-W, I have learned of hackatons, heard company representatives talk, and overall learned on what I have to do before I leave ODU to be successful in my field.

CRIME COOKIE
The "Crime Cookie" was an app that was created by me and the ACM-W eboard at the Technica Hackaton which took place at the University of Maryland College Park. The app was created due to a background of accidents or events that take place around ODU's off-campus area. Students and other people would simply report the incident and appropriate officers would respond to the scene.

The "Crime Cookie" project won first place in “Best Use of HERE.coms Mapping API'' from MLH Hacks in November 2018.
