CYSE 494
The experience was very interesting due that CYSE 494 led to me develop a business mindset and the possibilities that one can create within the cybersecurity field. Also, the type of products, businesses, social programs, or other business opportunities that are able to come true that solve problems or have potential capital opportunities. Entrepreneurship in Cybersecurity is an experience where it helped me enhance my personal and professional development. The experience offered me an opportunity to integrate disciplinary theory and knowledge through developing a business in cybersecurity. The real-world experiences that entrepreneurship goes through helped me understand how academic knowledge leads to transformations, innovations, and solutions to different types of problems.

From this experience, I was able to work with the Small Business Administration (SBA) to develop a business plan and a presentation of the plan. I was able to identify how businesses are created and develop the work habits and skills that an entrepreneur needs to succeed. Also, identify the ethical, political, professional, and social issues arising in entrepreneurial initiatives.​

A Business Plan = Successful Company
In CYSE 494, the professor assigned everyone to create a business that would be offering services based on our majors. We had to think like entrepreneurs and create a business plan which every entrepreneur needs to do so for the company to come true. We had to have the mindset that the business we were creating would one day come true and to do so we used the SBA website as a guide. A business plan is a formal written document containing the business goals, the methods on how these goals will be achieved, and the time frame within which these goals need to be achieved.

Cybersecurity Training & Getcha Service Business
I came up with a business idea to provide two different services that are very much needed in today's society. Due that technology is everywhere, it has led to some malicious people hurt others through the web or trick people to get their sensitive information. The first service, Cybersecurity training, would be offered to the general public as well as for companies who want to ensure their employees know the ways to be safe in the workplace. This service would overall teach the public the different techniques to be safe in cyberspace and the different methods that identity theft occurs as well as phishing methods, and more.

The second service, "Getcha", is based on stopping cyber predators on chat rooms and overall capturing them before they cause harm to any child. This is one of the unique services that are part of the business plan because not many cybersecurity businesses offer this service. This service would include cybersecurity professionals tracking and working with police departments to lower the numbers of cyber predators. Overall, the business would have a different variety of professionals who speak different languages to help any client.

Learning Experiences
During this wonderful experience, Entrepeuneruship in Cybersecurity helped me develop skills that I did have before but it brought them all up high. I can sell or influence others better now due that the business plan helped me create inspiration within me. In general, if I know a service or business opportunity is possible, I now can explain to others the benefits of it leading to making it seem that the service already exists. Overall, influencing and selling the product too well. Before, I was already able to obtain and process information, but within this experience, I learned how to use the information that I gathered and write it very professionally turning it into an entrepreneur paper, which is very hard when it comes to showing data. These skills have been brought up extremely high and it helps me a lot because these are the skills that employers are seeking from me.
Entrepreneurship in Cybersecurity has led me to discover that the field is not all about being technical but there are also business opportunities that are needed as well. On top of that, it has led me to develop interpersonal skills such as that I have more motivation, negotiation, and hope.
